Mountaineering and climbing in Silvaplana

There is plenty for mountaineers to experience in Silvaplana. There are mountain tours around the Julier Pass that offer a variety of options. For example, the beautiful and challenging route to Piz Güglia, Piz Polaschin or Piz Albana.

Mountain paradise Silvaplana

Experienced mountaineers appreciate the mountain peaks and the beautiful mountain tours in Silvaplana. The panorama from the three thousand meter peaks is breathtakingly beautiful. Sport climbers can also test their skills on the numerous rock faces of varying degrees of difficulty. The "La Resgia" via ferrata near Pontresina also offers moderately difficult climbing fun for sporty beginners.

Mountaineering tours near Silvaplana

From Silvaplana, some beautiful mountain tours lead to the surrounding three-thousand-metre peaks. For example to Piz Polaschin (T4-T5), which leads past Lej da la Tscheppa. The challenging alpine hike to Piz Julier (T4) is a true classic and boasts a fantastic panoramic view of the summit. Nearby is the Piz Albana - also a beautiful alpine hike of T4 to T5 level.
