The 2025 Cross-Country World Cup in the Engadin was a highlight from a Swiss and international perspective.

Friday - Switzerland got off to a strong start with a 3rd place in the mixed relay. Nadine Fähndrich shone in the final relay, making up five places and securing the team (with Jonas Baumann, Anja Weber and Jason Rüesch) a place on the podium behind Sweden and Norway.

Saturday - Johannes Høsflot Klæbo celebrated his 100th World Cup victory in the sprint. Switzerland's Valerio Grond made it to the final as a lucky loser and finished an impressive 4th place - the best result on home soil. In the women's event, Alina Meier reached the semi-finals, while Nadine Fähndrich was unlucky in the quarter-finals.

Sunday - Klæbo also dominated the 20 km freestyle mass start, which he won in commanding style - his 3rd distance victory of the season. Five other Norwegians followed him in the top places. Jonas Baumann finished 12th, Candide Pralong 20th. Norway also won the women's race, while Nadine Fähndrich finished 24th.

Overall, Klæbo impressed with outstanding form, while the Swiss surprised positively with podium places and strong performances in the sprint.
