To kick off the Winter Opening 2025, there will be a Movie Night at the Scala cinema.

As part of the Winter Opening, guests gathered for an aperitif in the lobby of the Scala cinema.

The snowboard film "Spike" by Nitro, the snowboard film "Backyard Session" by Shred Bots and the freeski film "Ulterior" with Kye Peterson and Tanner Hall will be shown. Before the film screenings, visitors can enjoy an aperitif in the foyer.

About "Spike"

Developed by team riders, this snowboard film shows what snowboarding means to today's most progressive and stylish riders both on and off the board. Spike represents energy, a lifestyle, a mindset, an attitude and therefore the Nitro team. Spike shows the passion of riders who live and breathe snowboarding. When they are let off the leash, they run free and develop their very own dynamic: then the wonderful happens - the real moments, the actual life in the present and from this arises the authentic style of Nitro.

About "Backyard Sessions"

BACKYARD SESSIONS takes you on a short journey through the Austrian and Italian Alps.

The trio of Marc Grossgasteiger, Thomas Enk and Mario Wanger took turns presenting their favorite playgrounds in their respective hometowns. It was a short, warm winter, but the crew made the most of it and found a variety of jump lines and drops in the picturesque Austrian Alps.

About "Ulterior"

Experience the long-awaited premiere of "Ulterior," an adrenaline-fueled backcountry ski film starring Kye Petersen and Tanner Hall. Shot in some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world - Bute Inlet, Haines Alaska and the Sea-to-Sky corridor - "Ulterior" is an impressive blend of raw mountain power, precision skiing and authentic storytelling.

Entirely directed, produced, edited and filmed by a local production team, this project captures the essence of life in the mountains and the spirit of those who live for the deep snow and steep slopes that characterize the Coast Range.
