Buy a trail pass
The trails are kept in perfect condition by tireless maintenance staff, who prepare and groom the trails early in the morning or late at night. The maintenance is supported by the purchase of a ski pass.
Cross country lessons
You can obtain lessons in classic style or skating at Daniel Sandoz’ cross-country school. Passionate about their sport, the instructors will show you how to glide effortlessly on narrow skis.
The Engadin Skimarathon takes place yearly on the second Sunday in March. The 42 kilometer course runs from Maloja to S-chanf, the half-marathon ends in Pontresina. The LA SFIDA is a great opportunity for the recreational cross-country skiers out there to try their strength in a multiple stage race. La Diagonela is a cross-country race in classical technique style.
