Stand Up Paddling

Early in the morning there is usually no wind and the lake is so calm you can see the local mountain Corvatsch reflecting on it. Yes, stand up paddling is definitely one of the best things you can do while on holidays in Silvaplana. Simply magical. The trendy sport is in addition a great preparation for your upcoming kite- or windsurf day: kill two birds with one stone and train your upper body and balance while enjoying a peaceful start to the day.

Book a SUP Course

Our suggestion: Inquire about special courses such as yoga lessons on the SUP or SUP tours. If you want to enjoy the experience with a whole group or your family, rent a XXL SUP at the windsurf school.

Experience Silvaplana

Silvaplana is located in the heart of the Upper Engadine lake landscape, surrounded by impressive three-thousand-meter peaks such as the local mountain Corvatsch with the highest panorama restaurant at 3303 m above sea level.

Lake Silvaplana is a wind-safe area for sailors in a high alpine environment. With wind forces of three to six Beaufort, the Maloja wind comes up reliably during the morning and does not drop until sunset. At the Swiss Sailing School you can book sailing courses on Lake Silvaplana and take the sailing license exam. Do you already have a sailing license and want to charter a sailboat? The 7.3 meter long "Beneteau First Class 7" is ideal for a sailing trip with up to five people.
