Review - Chalandamarz

In warm temperatures, the students from Silvaplana School set off full of energy from the Corvatsch cable car station on their way to Silvaplana.

Along the way, they stopped at around ten stations and delighted their audience with traditional songs. When they arrived at Plazza dal Güglia, they performed the best Chalandamarz songs in Romansh on the big stage. This was followed by speeches from school board president Patrick Meier and mayor Daniel Bosshard, before the traditional "Schlupper las gaischlas" took place to drive away winter. After a hot dog and a warming punch, the children moved on to the community center and then to the school. After the lunch break, they went to Champfèr, where the cheerful parade delighted the villagers with their songs.
