Cross-country skiing skill circuit

Skating technique: diagonal skating

This step is similar to the classic technique's burr step. However, it can be skated with a glide phase. The pole insertion of the right arm supports the push-off of the right leg and the gliding phase on the left ski. The pole insertion of the left arm in turn supports the kick of the left leg and the gliding phase on the right ski. The steeper the trail, the greater the ski angle and the poles are alternately inserted further to the outside.
