Traveling by public transport in Silvaplana
There are many ways to reach Silvaplana. In town, you can benefit from our free electric shuttle bus. We have compiled all the important information about mobility and public transport.
The best way to enjoy the journey to Silvaplana is by train to St. Moritz and then by bus. You can relax on the journey through the picturesque Graubünden countryside and do something good for the environment at the same time.
In Silvaplana itself, our free electric shuttle bus to the Corvatsch cable car runs every 20 minutes during the summer and winter season.
Electric shuttle bus
The free electric shuttle bus runs every 20 minutes between Silvaplana and the Corvatsch cable car in Surlej during the summer and winter season. The shuttle bus now has no lunch break and runs daily from 07:24 to 17:28.
Please note: The shuttle bus takes a break during the off-season and operates only when the Corvatsch cable car is open.
Winter 2026/2027 operating hours: Friday, November 21 – Sunday, April 25
Summer 2027 operating hours: Saturday, June 19 – Sunday, October 24
Winter 2027/2028 operating hours: Friday, November 19 – Sunday, April 23
Luggage service
Thanks to the SBB luggage service, your luggage travels ahead - and your day's vacation begins carefree. SBB offers various options for transporting luggage and sports equipment.
You can have your luggage sent to the i-Lounge 3303 or return it from there.

Public transport tickets: single trips and special tickets
Book public transport tickets for the outward and return journey as well as for during your stay in the Engadin easily and with just a few clicks. In addition to the normal single journeys, special tickets are also available for the Bernina Express or the Glacier Express.
Guest subscription
For all those who often travel by bus or train in the Engadin, the guest subscription is worthwhile. With these multi-day tickets, you can enjoy unlimited travel on the Engadin Bus, St. Moritz local bus, PostBus and the Rhaetian Railway.
You can choose the duration of the pass yourself - between 3 and 14 days. The guest pass is valid between Maloja - Cinuos-chel and Spinas - Alp Grüm.

Guest parking permits
Guest parking permits can be ordered for seven days, 15 days or 31 days.
This parking permit is valid for the parking lots at the civil defense facility, the surfing facility (summer only), at the bridge in Surlej and at the town hall, but this parking lot may not be used as a permanent parking lot.
Please note the maximum parking time for each parking space:
Civil defense facility maximum 7 days
Surfing facility maximum 17 hours
Surlej bridge maximum 14 hours
Community center maximum 11 hours
Guest tickets can be ordered online up to three days in advance.
