Winter season in Silvaplana

Powder snow, cliffs and endless slopes. At 3303 meters above sea level, freeriders on Corvatsch are spoilt for choice: couloir or deep snow field? Corvatsch offers everything that makes freeriders' hearts beat faster: steep gullies for the freaks, wide deep-snow slopes for the connoisseurs, cliff jumps for the daredevils. In Silvaplana and on the Julier Pass, you also have a wide variety of ski tours to choose from.

Freeriding & wildlife protection zones

Thanks to its altitude and the many north-facing slopes, Corvatsch offers ideal conditions for freeriding until the end of April and is an ideal starting point for ski tours. Carry the necessary safety equipment with you, including an avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe, and find out about the avalanche report and the quiet zones on Corvatsch before your ride: there are strict regulations, especially in the wooded area.

By public transport on a ski tour around the Julier Pass

The snow tour bus takes you from Silvaplana to the starting point of your ski tour - to the Alp Güglia parking lot or to Ospizio La Veduta. The extra bus runs daily from December 14 to April 30. Reservations are required.

Freeride event on Corvatsch - Engadinsnow

Every year, the world's best freeskiers and snowboarders meet at Corvatsch for the legendary ENGADINSNOW by Dakine. At the EVENT, the athletes start on the big final day together with a few selected "invited" riders. As a spectator, you can watch the spectacle and the breathtaking jumps from up close.
